Ananth Reddy

Ananth's passion for travel in the Himalayas and his desire to share the world’s biggest mountains with people got him on board with Unplugged Life.

With degrees in Civil Engineering and Investment Finance and an emergent career in Investment Banking, Ananth quit the corporate life and began travelling. He has trekked, climbed, skied, cycle toured and dived on 5 continents, ever since. An inherent desire for adventure has taken him to some spectacular, wild places.

He has 4 successful alpine-style expeditions, to Himalayan peaks, under his belt and has hiked over 2000km of trails in the Trans-Himalayan regions of Ladakh and Spiti in India. He's spent months in the Khumbu over multiple trips and has made the journey to Everest Base Camp, Gokyo and over the 3 passes numerous times. Mountaineering courses in Garhwal round up his exploits in the Himalaya.

After guiding and exploring across the great ranges of the planet, Ananth now chases adventure and work in the Himalayas. With his extensive real-world experience, certifications in Mountaineering and as a NOLS-certified Wilderness First Responder, he is uniquely qualified to lead expeditions and treks into the mountains.
