DETAILED ITINERARY
Day One: Arrive at Port Blair & Local Sightseeing
Upon your arrival at Port Blair airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After completing the check-in process and taking a moment to relax, embark on an exciting journey to Carbyn’s Cove Beach & Cellular Jail. Later watch the Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail where the saga of the freedom struggle brought alive. Overnight stay at Port Blair.
Carbyn’s Cove Beach: This picturesque beach, located just 3 kilometres from the town, is an ideal spot for swimming and sunbathing. It offers various amenities such as hotels, restaurants, bars, changing rooms, and adventure water sports. While visiting this beach, you can also explore historical remnants like Japanese Bunkers. Nearby, Snake Island is renowned for scuba diving.
Light and Sound Show: The Sound and Light show at Cellular Jail narrates the saga of India’s freedom struggle through stunning sound and light effects. It vividly portrays the brutal and barbaric treatment meted out to freedom fighters who were imprisoned in this jail. This show is a favourite among tourists.
Cellular Jail: This National Memorial, located in Port Blair, was a silent witness to the inhumane treatment of national freedom fighters. Built in 1906, it was named ‘Cellular’ because of its individual cells for solitary confinement. The jail, with seven blocks, three stories, and a central tower, has honeycomb-like corridors. Today, it stands as a place of pilgrimage for all those who cherish the memories of the freedom struggle.
Day Two: Port Blair to Havelock Island
Today, you will be transferred to Havelock Island by ship. Havelock, a part of Ritchie’s Archipelago, is a serene paradise situated 57 kilometers northeast of South Andaman. Covering an area of 92 square kilometres, it boasts pristine sandy beaches and lush green forests. The island is primarily populated by Bengali settlers.
Havelock is home to two of the world’s most renowned beaches, including Radhanagar Beach, which is often considered the seventh most beautiful island globally. Havelock Island offers some of the best diving and snorkelling sites, making it a paradise for marine enthusiasts. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel and spend the night in Havelock.
Day Three: Havelock Island: Day At Own Leisure
Today, you have the freedom to enjoy a leisurely day in the lap of nature. You can relax on the white sand beaches and even partake in activities like scuba diving and sea walking on direct payment basis.
Optionally, you can embark on a trip to Elephant Beach (on direct payment basis at INR 1100/- per person). This destination is known for its incredible underwater reefs that start at less than a meter deep. Elephant Beach is around 30 minutes by boat.
Day Four: Havelock Island to Neil Island
In the morning, have your breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, our representative will assist you in boarding the boat, which will sail to Neil Island. Neil Island is known for its unexplored coral reefs, brilliant biodiversity, white sandy beaches with tropical forest and vegetation, making it a Grade A destination to chill out after the “bustle” of Havelock.
Upon arrival at Neil Island, our representative will receive and escort you to check in to the resort/hotel. After that, begin a sightseeing trip to Laxmanpur Beach and Howrah Bridge. Neil’s beaches are still the perfect places for that added bit of relaxation, where you can laze in the shadows of its more famous island neighbour, tranquil Neil. Enjoy an overnight stay at Neil Island.
Day Five: Neil Island to Port Blair
After breakfast, visit Bharatpur Beach to relax on the soft sands or enjoy activities like snorkeling and glass-bottom boat rides. Afterward, return to the hotel to check out and proceed to the jetty for your scheduled ship transfer to Port Blair.
On arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure—explore local markets, try Andaman cuisine, or relax at a café. End the day with an overnight stay in Port Blair.
Day Seven: Port Blair Airport Drop
In the morning, you’ll be driven to the airport where you’ll board the flight to your onward destination.
